Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Approximately 19,405 or nearly 2,000 people in Gorontalo have obtained Digital Population Identity (IKD) on their smartphones.
This figure is based on data released by the Civil Registration and Population Administration Agency (Dukcapil PMD) of Gorontalo Province as of December 1, 2023.
“At present, there are 19,405 residents who have registered for IKD,” said Amran Pahrun, Head of PIAK and Data Utilization of Dukcapil PMD Gorontalo Province, on Monday (12/4/2023).
“This number continues to increase over time because the civil registration offices in regencies and cities continue to record and register IKD every day,” Amran continued.
Of the 19,405 residents, he said, they are distributed in regencies and cities, consisting of 5,727 in Gorontalo Regency and 6,512 residents in Gorontalo City.
Furthermore, in Bone Bolango Regency, there are 3,126 residents, 1,564 in Pohuwato Regency, 1,456 in North Gorontalo, and 1,020 in Bualemo.
Amran hopes that with the maximum performance of the civil registration offices in regencies and cities, this number will continue to increase.
“I am confident and believe that the civil registration offices in regencies and cities are working at their best. Surely this number will continue to increase over time,” he concluded. (*)
