Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Gorontalo Regent, Nelson Pomalingo, appreciates the destruction of evidence carried out by the District Prosecutor’s Office of Gorontalo Regency. He conveyed this during his attendance at the evidence destruction event with legal force on Tuesday (12/5/2023).
“The destruction of evidence is the result of the work of all parties, especially the Gorontalo Regency Police, the Gorontalo Regional Police, and the district prosecutor’s office,” said Nelson.
He further expressed appreciation for this activity because it demonstrates that the law enforcement agencies take action in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
“In the future, we should think that such incidents no longer exist. At the very least, they should decrease. If they increase, it means we are not making preventive efforts, improvements, socialization, and so on,” he added.
For information, some of the evidence destroyed this time includes 10 grams of the drug known as crystal meth (sabu). There were also sharp weapons (sajam) such as machetes, clothing items like pants, shirts, and bags, as well as alcoholic beverages (miras), specifically mouse-branded liquor. (*)
