Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Chairperson of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of North Gorontalo (Gorut), Deasy S.M Datau hopes that in the 2024 budget year, program implementation can be maximized.
This was conveyed by Deasy when asked for her response regarding her hopes for the 2024 budget year.
“If asked about hopes, of course, I hope that the implementation of programs accommodated in the 2024 APBD can be maximized,” she said.
However, amid the current budget conditions, every regional apparatus organization (OPD) must be smart in managing budgets and programs.
This includes being diligent in determining which programs are important to be implemented and adjusting them according to the availability of funds.
“It’s no secret that the budget conditions are quite concerning, which affects programs. OPDs must be selective in implementing programs, tailored to the available budget conditions,” said Deasy.
Furthermore, it is stated that communication and coordination among institutions are also crucial in program implementation and budget management.
“It is indeed important in program implementation and budget management to communicate and coordinate among institutions.
This is not intended to interfere but rather to coordinate so that institutional functions can run optimally according to the regulations,” she emphasized.
Not only that, but such communication and coordination serve as a form of transparency in program and budget management, allowing the DPRD, as supervisors in this case, to have detailed knowledge without any discrepancies or unknowns.(*)
