Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Gorontalo has become the second province with the highest national percentage in the initial recording of the Electronic First-Time Voter ID Card (E-ID).
This percentage is based on the Potential Voter List for Elections (DP4) and basic education data (Dapodik) released by the Directorate General of Civil Registration (Dukcapil) under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Amran Pahrun, Head of PIAK and Data Utilization of Dukcapil PMD Gorontalo Province, revealed that Gorontalo is ranked second after DKI Jakarta.
“Based on data in early December 2023, we are at 83.74 percent. DKI Jakarta is at 85.96 percent,” said Amran on Monday (12/4/2023).
Below Gorontalo, Amran continued, there is DI Yogyakarta at 81.54 percent, Bali at 71.38 percent, and Central Java at 68.15 percent.
He expressed optimism that this percentage will continue to increase over time, especially with the maximum performance currently carried out by the civil registration offices in regencies and cities.
“This is certainly the result of collaboration among all civil registration offices in regencies and cities, working together with relevant agencies. I am confident that this percentage will continue to increase,” he concluded. (*)
