Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Two draft regional regulations (Ranperda) concerning regional archiving management and the fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities in Gorontalo Regency have officially been approved as regional regulations (Perda).
The approval took place during the plenary meeting of the second-level decision-making discussion held by the Gorontalo Regency DPRD on Monday (4/12/2023).
According to the Chairman of the Gorontalo Regency DPRD, Syam T. Ase, the approval of these two Ranperda was carried out in accordance with the procedures and mechanisms.
“The discussion of these Ranperda has gone through a harmonization process with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Gorontalo Province, and facilitation has been conducted by the Provincial Government of Gorontalo,” said Syam while leading the plenary meeting.
As a result of this facilitation, Syam continued, there were several inputs for changes and improvements to each Ranperda. The provided input was then adjusted and refined in accordance with the facilitation results.
“We hope that what we decide and agree upon today is the best result and can benefit the community,” Syam expressed his hope.
It should be noted that the Ranperda on regional archiving management and the protection and fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities are part of the regional regulation formation program for the year 2023. (*)
