Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Under Merlan Uloli’s leadership in Bone Bolango, the local revenue (PAD) from the tax sector in January has seen an increase compared to the previous era.

Yes, based on data successfully gathered from the Regional Financial and Revenue Agency of Bone Bolango Regency, PAD from the tax sector in January 2024 is higher than in the previous year.

In January 2023, the collected PAD from taxes was only Rp 815 million. Whereas, this January, as of January 29, it has reached Rp 893 million.

“Until yesterday (January 29, 2024), the collected amount was Rp 893 million. Whereas in January 2023, it was only Rp 815 million,” said the Functional Tax Assessor Officer, Regional Financial Agency of Bone Bolango, Rini Gobel, on Tuesday (30/1/2024).

The amount of tax revenue for January can still increase since there are still two days left in January.

So, how about the PAD from levies? Rini responded that the revenue from levies collected is approximately Rp 40 million. This figure, she said, is far from the levies in January 2023, which were around Rp 106 million.

Nevertheless, Rini expressed optimism that the revenue from specific January 2024 levies would still increase. She mentioned that the current figure only comes from two local government agencies (OPDs).

“There are still many OPDs that have not reported their levies. They usually report after the month has passed. For example, the January results will be reported in February,” she explained.

During the occasion, Rini also revealed that this year they would make maximum efforts. This is driven by the decrease in transfer funds to the regions. Rini stated that efforts would be realized by intensifying education and other measures.

“Efforts include those from the property tax sector. We continue to update land that previously did not have buildings, but now has buildings or houses built by the owners. So, if there are buildings, what is collected is not just the land tax, but also the building tax,” said Rini.(*)
