Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Mayor of Gorontalo, Marten Taha, has once again reshuffled the cabinet, following a similar move last month.
In this cabinet reshuffle, Marten inaugurated 51 administrative officials, including three sub-district heads. According to Marten, the cabinet reshuffle is not based on personal preferences or likes and dislikes but solely due to the needs of the Gorontalo City Government, which is currently facing vacancies in administrative positions.
“These positions are directly related to public service, as well as government administration and development,” said Marten during his speech at the inauguration ceremony held on Monday (20/11/2023).
Therefore, Marten stated that the changes in personnel in regional government agencies (OPD) or the appointment of administrative positions result from a meticulous identification process, thorough analysis, and careful consideration.
“I ask the officials inaugurated today to immediately work quickly and accurately in optimizing or driving the performance of regional government agencies, both for the remaining of this year and in preparing for next year’s programs and activities,” Marten instructed. (*)
