Hargo.co.id, JAKARTA – Gorontalo Regent Nelson Pomalingo expresses gratitude for participating in the 2023 Regional Leadership Course (KPPD) Batch I, a program by Lemhannas RI in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) National University of Singapore, and the Pumomo Yusgiantoro Foundation.
Nelson is thankful for the training, where he gained substantial knowledge and insights. “Throughout the KPPD course, I acquired diverse and competent insights, as the program’s principle aims to develop and strengthen leadership,” said Nelson during the closing ceremony on Friday (17/11/2023) at the Constitutional Room of Trigatra Building, Lemhannas RI, Central Jakarta.
“It also facilitates regional officials to exchange insights and best practices in building strategic networks,” he added.
Nelson emphasized the significance of the activities conducted in Singapore and Lemhannas, considering that LKYSPP National University of Singapore is the best public policy school in Asia. “Furthermore, Singapore is one of the advanced countries not only in Asia but in the world. Thanks to Lemhannas, the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, LKYSPP National University of Singapore, and the direct support of the Pumomo Yusgiantoro Foundation,” Nelson explained.
During the closing ceremony, Regent Nelson Pomalingo received the KPPD Certificate and a plaque presented by the Ceremony Inspector, Acting Governor of Lemhannas, accompanied by representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the National University of Singapore.
“Alongside 17 elected regional heads throughout Indonesia, I have successfully completed the KPPD program Batch I in 2023. Hopefully, everything we gained during those two weeks can be beneficial and applied in our respective regions,” he concluded. (*)
