Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Acting Regent of Bone Bolango, Merlan S. Uloli, considers the non-cash payment channel Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) to be very convenient for residents in conducting transactions.
Therefore, the first female regent in Gorontalo plans to further expand QRIS services in Bone Bolango Regency. In 2024, Merlan targets QRIS to be able to reach schools in Bone Bolango.
“In 2024, the use of QRIS is expected to reach the school level,” said Merlan during the High Level Meeting (HLM) of TP2DD Bone Bolango in 2023 and the introduction of the Klik PAD Application at the Saronde Ballroom, Aston Gorontalo Hotel, held recently.
In addition to reaching schools, Merlan also revealed that in 2024 there are several continuation programs of ETPD in Bone Bolango, such as QRIS Entering Villages, QRIS Entering BLUD, and QRIS Goes to School.
“This certainly requires support from Bank SulutGo as the RKUD and Bank Indonesia, to ensure that all types of tax and retribution payment channels currently in effect can be made available for use, as well as collaboration for socialization and literacy, so that the public can make tax and retribution payments through Tokopedia, Traveloka, and various other channels,” Merlan explained.
He hopes that through this approach, the improvement of services and payment convenience in Bone Bolango Regency can be realized, giving rise to a digitally proficient community as part of the realization of digital governance in Bone Bolango Regency. (*)
