Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – After obtaining a letter from the Golkar Central Executive Board for the Gorontalo governor election (Pilgub), legislative and presidential elections, Tonny Uloli began meetings with several Golkar leaders in districts and cities.
He was known to have met with the Chairman of the Golkar Regional Executive Board of Gorontalo Regency, Hendra Hemeto, the Chairman of the Golkar Regional Executive Board of Boalemo, Lahmuddin Hambali, and the Chairman of the Golkar Regional Executive Board of Bone Bolango, Zainuddin Pedro Bau, on Saturday (1/20/2024).
The meeting, held at the Aston Hotel in Gorontalo City, was also attended by the Chairman of the Golkar Regional Executive Board I in Gorontalo, Rusli Habibie (RH).
Meanwhile, three other Chairmen of the Golkar Regional Executive Boards II were known to be busy with campaign activities and several other events. Such as Thariq Modanggu who attended a campaign in the Tolinggula District, North Gorontalo Regency.
“We talked for about two hours, disbanded at 11 p.m. We also did not expect Mr. RH to come because previously RH confirmed he couldn’t attend, because yesterday afternoon he campaigned in Taludaa, Bone Bolango,” said Tonny Uloli.
He revealed that the meeting discussed two important things: updating the implementation of legislative campaign and preparing for the regional elections, especially the governor election.
The atmosphere of the closed meeting attended by only five people, said Tonny Uloli,
was warm and occasionally interspersed with laughter. As the host of this meeting, Tonny Uloli expressed his seriousness to compete in the upcoming governor election.
“I was assigned by the Central Executive Board to assist the Golkar party in winning the legislative elections and to conduct socialization as a potential gubernatorial candidate.
So, I want to update the situation in the field through the Golkar Regional Executive Board Chairpersons in Gorontalo Province,” said Tonny Uloli.
He also emphasized his readiness to follow all Golkar party procedures to run as a gubernatorial candidate.
“To them, I expressed my seriousness to run as a gubernatorial candidate. Including conveying my readiness from all sides,” he added.
Interestingly, after the meeting, Hendra Hemeto, as the Chairman of the Golkar Regional Executive Board of Gorontalo Regency, openly stated that those present agreed that the gubernatorial candidate to be nominated by Golkar would be Tonny Uloli.(*)
