Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The mystery surrounding who will be the Acting Regent of North Gorontalo (Gorut) has finally been solved.
Sila Nurainsyah Botutihe, the Head of the Department of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Gorontalo Province, is chosen.
Sila was selected by the President through the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, as the Acting Regent of Gorut.
This is stated in the letter Number 100.2.1.3 – 6241 of 2023 regarding the appointment of the acting Regent of North Gorontalo Province.
“The provincial government has received the appointment letter for Mrs. Sila as the Acting Regent of Gorut. Inshallah, on Wednesday, December 6, she will be inaugurated and sworn in by the Acting Governor on behalf of the Minister of Home Affairs,” said the Head of the Information and Statistics Department, Rifli M. Katili, on Saturday (2/12/2023), as quoted from berita.gorontaloprov.go.id.
The appointment of Sila Botutihe is expected to be accepted by the entire community, especially the people of Gorut.
“The Acting Governor earlier emphasized that whoever is entrusted by the President through the Minister of Home Affairs, we must support.
We assist her in building Gorut, especially in preparing for the implementation of the 2024 elections,” added Rifli.
The former Head of Tourism also reminded people not to be fooled by text messages or calls claiming to be from the Acting Regent of Gorut or any other party.
The change of officials is often exploited by certain individuals to ask for money and deceive victims.(*)
