Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Chairperson of the Gorontalo Provincial PKK, Fima Agustina, was confirmed as the Mother of Disabilities on Sunday (12/3/2023).
The confirmation ceremony, conducted by the Acting Governor of Gorontalo, Ismail Pakaya, took place at the Bele Li Mbui Building in Gorontalo City.
This event was marked by the installation of the Mother of Disabilities sash in commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the provincial level in Gorontalo.
Ismail hopes that Fima can fulfill her duties with the utmost dedication and responsibility. He calls for collaboration with the government to provide the best services for those with special needs.
“Collaborate with all potential activities and resources available to provide the best for our brothers and sisters,” said Ismail.
“May all our efforts provide the best services for all persons with disabilities in Gorontalo Province,” he added.
Ismail also expressed gratitude to everyone who has consistently supported people with disabilities in developing their various potentials.
“Thanks also to the DPRD task force team, who successfully formulated the Regional Regulation on the Protection and Fulfillment of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities,” he stated.
The commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities was attended by representatives of special needs students from across Gorontalo Province. (Release)
