Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The first official task of the Acting Regent of North Gorontalo (Gorut), Sila Botutihe, in steering the regional administration, will involve a consolidation meeting with the local government officials.
Sila made this announcement after the traditional molopu ceremony at the Gorut Regent’s Office on Thursday (12/7/2023).
“Tomorrow, I will be entering the office. The first agenda is the handover ceremony with the Regent of Gorut for the 2018-2023 period, followed by a consolidation meeting.
Since tomorrow is Friday and it is estimated that there won’t be enough time for discussions, the meeting will continue until Saturday,” explained Sila.
Sila stated that the consolidation meeting would also include a coordination meeting. She acknowledged the significant responsibility entrusted to her, including preparing and leading Gorut to have a definitive regent in 2024.
“My task is to guide Gorut until there is a definitive regent in the future. Another task is to ensure the success of three democratic events, starting from the Presidential Election, Legislative Election, and Regional Election,” she clarified.
Sila also emphasized that the success and progress of the region depend on various elements, including the executive, legislative, community, and other elements.
“I hope that all parties can collaborate and work together to build this region. Communication and coordination between institutions are crucial for the harmony in building the region,” she asserted. (*)
