Thanks to the skilled hands of this Golkar politician, many community aspirations have become a reality.
Moreover, for the people in Marisa Subdistrict, especially in Pohuwato Village, Beni Nento is considered capable of overseeing various community aspirations.
This was revealed during the recess of the first session of the fifth year held on Saturday (9/12/2023).
This year’s recess, according to the Golkar politician, took place in two locations, starting with the networking of aspirations and the distribution of food aid, agricultural machinery assistance, and SME support in Buntulia Subdistrict.
For the recess in Marisa Subdistrict, the Chairman of Koni Pohuwato mentioned that many aspirations were conveyed, ranging from the construction of drainage systems, embankments, to public cemeteries.
“Today, we continue in Marisa Subdistrict, and the aspirations they conveyed are related to drainage channels. Flood management, we will certainly strive for, including public cemetery issues, as we know precisely that this is a coastal area, so these aspirations are essential to be considered,” said Beni Nento.
He further mentioned that in response to the requests from village community leaders, the recess at the end of this year was held in Pohuwato Village.
Besides being a platform for gathering aspirations, this inaugural recess in Pohuwato Village is also an opportunity for him to build camaraderie with the villagers.
“Here, many are my relatives. Many requests from community leaders, and for me to be able to establish ties with my relatives here, that’s why I am conducting the second point of the recess here,” he concluded.
A minimum of 650 food aid packages, 50 SME support packages, and dozens of agricultural tools and machinery assistance were distributed during the recess led by the Chairman of Commission III. (*)
