Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Gorontalo Regency Government continues to develop partnerships with entities that can bring positive impacts to the region.
In the latest development, the administration led by Bupati Nelson Pomalingo and Vice Bupati Hendra Hemeto has entered into a collaboration with PT Telkom Indonesia.
The collaboration was marked by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Project Agree Closed Loop by Nelson Pomalingo and General Manager of Telkom’s Gorontalo Witel, Sabar Siswanto, on Tuesday (5/12/2023).
This collaboration is related to the digitization of the MARKITA application launch, specifically targeting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). It will be tested in 2024 for civil servants (ASN) and contract workers within the Gorontalo Regency Government.
Bupati Nelson stated that through this digitization, UMKM can thrive, and services to the community, including civil servants, can be improved.
“With this collaboration, the promotion of regional activities can be carried out through PT Telkom, so this collaboration continues,” said Nelson.
He further explained that the purpose of creating the MARKITA application is to provide services to the community, encourage the good development of UMKM, and other industries, ultimately enhancing the economy and improving sales interactions.
“Therefore, our economy will thrive, and finally, it serves as a promotional medium for the region with various other activities,” he clarified.(*)
