Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) District Executive Board in Gorontalo, Awaludin Pauweni, emphatically states that all PPP cadres and supporters must ensure the victory of legislative candidate (Caleg) for the Indonesian Parliament (DPR) from Gorontalo electoral district (Dapil) number 3, Sawaludin, in the upcoming legislative elections.
Awaludin made this declaration during a PPP campaign in Tilote Village, Tilango Sub-district, on Wednesday (1/3/2024).
He mentioned that standing and campaigning in this location is an implementation of his responsibility as the chairman of the PPP District Executive Board in Gorontalo to secure Sawaludin’s victory as a DPR-RI legislative candidate.
“Therefore, I urge all residents, cadres, and PPP supporters to ensure Sawaludin’s victory in the DPR-RI,” explained Awaludin.
He also added that the task for PPP cadres and supporters is challenging, as they need to reclaim PPP’s seats in the Indonesian Parliament in Senayan from Gorontalo, which has been lost for two periods.
“There are three PPP candidates for the DPR-RI, namely Fory Naway from the academic community, Idris Rahim in the second position, a genuine bureaucrat, and in the third position is Sawaludin from the business and retired TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces) community. So, these three figures are competent,” emphasized Awaludin. (*)
