Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Department of Communication, Information, and Coding of Gorontalo City once again organized the Community Information Group (KIM) Award 2023. Similar to previous years, this year’s KIM Award began with a technical meeting.
“The technical meeting for the KIM Award 2023 was held last week. Alhamdulillah, judging by the audience at the technical meeting, the enthusiasm of KIM at the sub-district and district levels continues to increase from year to year,” said the Chairman of the KIM Award 2023 Committee, Adriyun Katili.
Adriyun, who is also the Head of the IKP Division at the Department of Communication, Information, and Coding of Gorontalo City, added that for the KIM Award 2023, they have added one competition category, namely the utilization of digitalization applications in sub-districts.
“In total, there are 10 awards that we will give to the sub-district and district KIM, including the best KIM advertisement star, the best three awards in the favorite advertisement category, the best cameraman, the best editor, the best scriptwriter, social media news of KIM in sub-districts and districts, and the best scriptwriter.
And the latest is the utilization of digitalization in sub-districts, with two awards,” explained the man affectionately called Uyun.
Meanwhile, one of the participants in the KIM Award 2023, Icuk Harson, a representative of KIM Bahari from Leato Utara Sub-district, emphasized that they aim to bring home three out of the 10 awards at the KIM Award 2023.
“If last year we were only nominated, this year we aim to bring home two to three categories in the competition,” said Icuk.
He also revealed the video content chosen by KIM Bahari, which is an education video about a recent phenomenon in Gorontalo, namely suicide, combined with promoting the potential tourist destinations in Leato Utara Sub-district to the wider audience.
“The duration of the video is approximately three minutes. We have submitted this video to the committee for evaluation,” said Icuk during an interview on Wednesday (29/11/2023) night. (*)
