Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The residents of Gorontalo City, especially those in Pohe Subdistrict, are showing sympathy for legislative candidate (Caleg) number 3 from PPP for DPR RI, Sawaludin. In addition to providing support, residents also pray for Sawaludin to be elected as a member of DPR RI.
“We pray for Mr. Sawaludin to be elected as a member of DPR RI. His ideas are very beneficial to the community. One of them is to improve the economy and welfare of the community,” said Ariyanto Hude, a resident of Neighborhood III, Pohe Subdistrict, Hulonthalangi District, Gorontalo City during the PPP dialogical campaign on Tuesday (1/9/2024).
If elected, Ariyanto, who works as a fisherman, advises Sawaludin not to forget the promises made during the campaign, especially promises to the fishermen.
“Our message is not to forget us, the fishermen of Gorontalo,” said Ariyanto.
Responding to this message, Sawaludin emphasized that he would never forget the promises he made. He said that since birth, he has been taught never to forget promises to others.
Meanwhile, observations by the media at the campaign location showed that residents were enthusiastic about listening to various ideas presented by PPP cadres, officials, and candidates. In the campaign, residents also received information about the voting procedure from Sawaludin.
“It is important for mothers and fathers, as well as brothers and sisters, to know how to cast their votes for me as a candidate for DPR RI number 3 from PPP,” said Sawaludin in front of the residents.
Sawaludin further explained that when arriving at the polling station (TPS), residents would receive a ballot paper from the polling station officials (KPPS). To vote for the DPR RI candidate, residents would receive a yellow-colored ballot paper.
“Now, to vote for me is very easy. When you open the yellow-colored ballot paper, my name is at the bottom left edge of the paper. There is also the PPP symbol, number 17,” explained Sawaludin. (*)
