Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Suspected of being a prostitution site, a beauty salon located in Huangobotu Village, Dungingi District, Gorontalo City, was raided by the Rajawali Team of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Gorontalo City Police on Thursday (30/11/2023) around 18:50 WITA.
In this raid, the police apprehended two unmarried couples, namely AD (23) and DK (46), as well as MR (23) and EL (31), and two individuals suspected to be the owners of the prostitution site, namely NK (23) and DJN (24).
The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Gorontalo City Police, Commissioner Leonardo Widharta, explained that during the initial interrogation of one of those apprehended, they stated that between customers and service providers, it was merely a satisfaction of desires without physical contact, with a fee of 150 thousand for each massage plus.
“If the customer wants more than just a massage, that’s when additional transactions come into play. The fee is around 500 thousand for each session. Meanwhile, the location owner will receive a room payment of 100 thousand for each guest,” said Commissioner Leonardo Widharta.
Leo explained that in this case, they would conduct further investigations to determine the legal status of the perpetrators.
The six individuals apprehended by the police were immediately taken to the Gorontalo City Police Station for questioning.
“For now, we will gather information from the two salon owners and the four individuals apprehended to deeply understand the alleged criminal activities,” Leo concluded. (*)
