Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – To strengthen bonds with diverse communities, the Acting Regent of North Gorontalo (Gorut), Sila Botutihe, conducted a Christmas safari visiting Christian households, including the residence of the Salindeho-Weliangan family, particularly the residence of Joulinovik Salindeho, on Monday (25/12/2023).
Sila was not alone; he was accompanied by the Secretary of North Gorontalo (Sekda), Suleman Lakoro, and heads of regional government organizations (OPD).
“This is a manifestation of the camaraderie among followers of different religions who are currently celebrating Christmas,” Sila Botutihe expressed during the gathering.
During this Christmas celebration, Sila hopes to bring peace to the entire Gorut community, especially to Christians.
He also hopes that Christmas 2023 will strengthen the bonds of friendship and bring blessings to the Gorut Regency.
Moreover, Sila emphasized that Gorut Regency is not only facing legislative and presidential elections but also regional elections.
“The peaceful atmosphere of this Christmas is expected to calm the region and stabilize the area, ultimately bringing peace as we prepare for the upcoming elections,” he emphasized.
Therefore, Sila Botutihe encourages the entire Gorut community to uphold regional stability, practice tolerance, and mutual respect among themselves. (*)
