Hargo.co.id – La Liga giant Real Madrid staged a comeback and clinched a dramatic win against Almeria in the 21st week of the 2023/2024 Spanish League at Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday (01/21/2024) evening WIB.
The match was not easy for Madrid. Almeria’s fast and straightforward play initially posed challenges for them.
Goals for Madrid were scored by Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr, and Dani Carvajal. Meanwhile, Almeria’s goals were netted by Largie Ramazani and Edgar Gonzalez.
With this result, Madrid now accumulates 51 points from 20 matches, securing the top spot in the current La Liga 2023/2024 standings, displacing Girona. Meanwhile, Almeria remains at the bottom of the table with only six points from 21 matches.
First Half
Real Madrid attempted to build attacks from the back. However, they conceded early in the match, less than a minute into play.

In the 81st minute, Madrid had a fine opportunity with Vinicius’ shot, after receiving a pass from Brahim Diaz. But Maximiano thwarted the chance.
Two minutes later, Bellingham threatened Almeria’s goal with his acrobatic shot from inside the penalty box. However, the ball went towards the left side of the goal.
The referee then added 11 minutes of stoppage time. Almeria faced increasingly intense pressure from Madrid.
In the 90+9th minute, Madrid finally reversed the score to 3-2! Brahim Diaz sent a cross to the far post from the right wing.
The ball was headed by Bellingham and returned to the left side of the goal. There, the ball was struck by Dani Carvajal.
