Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – A residential house in Ulapato A Village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo Regency, was engulfed by flames on Friday (2/2/2024).
Information gathered by this media indicates that the incident, which occurred around 14:20 local time, was delayed in being reported to the Gorontalo Regency Fire Department.
The Gorontalo Regency Fire Department report stated that the duty officers received information at 14:26 local time and immediately headed to the location.
One fire brigade unit from the Gorontalo Regency Fire Department, one unit from the Gorontalo Province Fire Department, and six personnel were deployed to the scene of the fire.
Upon arrival, the fire had already consumed the entire house, one motorcycle, one sewing machine, and two sewing machines.
Additionally, the fire also destroyed a boutique, several construction materials, and a savings amounting to Rp 60 million.
Hawa R. Ambionga (39), the homeowner, informed the authorities that upon learning of the fire, he immediately contacted the Gorontalo Regency Fire Department.
“It was found that the fire had been going on for 10 minutes before being reported to the Gorontalo Regency Fire Department,” wrote the Gorontalo Regency Fire Department.
Fortunately, there were no casualties in the fire. As of this report, the fire has been successfully extinguished.(*)
