Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – After almost two weeks of waiting, the salaries of North Gorontalo legislative members are expected to be credited to their accounts tomorrow, Thursday (1/11/2024).
The delay in salary payment was confirmed by the Vice Chairman 1 of the North Gorontalo Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), Roni Imran. He stated that their salaries have not been credited to their accounts so far.
“There may still be administrative processes that need to be adjusted or other obstacles,” said Roni Imran when contacted by the media.
Some of those contacted by the media expressed surprise at the current situation. According to them, a two-week salary delay like this is unusual. Nevertheless, they claim to remain patient.
“There may be obstacles or administrative adjustments that need to be made,” they said.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Council (Sekwan) of North Gorontalo, Fahrudin Lasulika, explained that the delay in salary payments also affected civil servants in the North Gorontalo DPRD.
“Yes, there is indeed a delay in salary payments, not only for the legislators but also for us civil servants,” said Fahrudin.
He explained that the delay is not intentional. Currently, he said, there is an administrative system that needs to be adjusted to the central government.
“This year there is a change in the SIPD system from the center. So we in the region also have to adjust to that system,” he explained.
Fahrudin revealed that since the office became active at the beginning of the year, they have been adjusting, including inputting other administrative work, all of which has been adapted to the new application system.
“It does take quite a long time because in the Council Secretariat, besides dealing with members of the DPRD, we also adjust to other ASN staff,” he said.
“In essence,” said the North Gorontalo Sekwan, the delay is not due to hardship or budget problems. The budget for salaries is available.
“Thank God, the salaries for the legislators have been inputted, and their positions are already in the regional finance and just waiting for the process,” said Fahrudin.
“Hopefully, the SP2D will be issued tomorrow, and it will be credited to each account,” he concluded. (*)
