Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The case of default or debt dispute with Yopi Abas, currently in process at the District Court (PN) Gorontalo, has not yet concluded.
RD, a legislative candidate for the Bone Bolango Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD Bonbol), is facing a new lawsuit of a similar nature, filed by Sabrina Ayu Lestari Latjuba.
Ayu stated to the media that she would soon register her lawsuit with the PN Gorontalo through her legal representatives, Eka Noldyanto Basole, SH, and Rahmat R. Huwoyon, SH. According to Ayu, she is suing RD because, until now, RD has refused to settle his remaining debt.
“He owes me as well. The amount is IDR 100 million, not including other agreements. I’m suing him (RD) because he ignored my warnings,” Ayu said when interviewed in front of the PN Gorontalo office on Thursday (11/1/2024).
Ayu, who served as a witness in Yopi Abas’s case, revealed that RD owed her money in February 2023. According to Ayu, RD approached her directly to borrow money without any intermediaries.
“Without intermediaries, sir. He came to me himself. And the money he borrowed was my child’s savings,” Ayu explained, adding that when RD borrowed the funds, she was in mourning for her late husband.
Additionally, Ayu was also pregnant with her child, who, according to the doctor’s prediction, would undergo the childbirth process in March.
“Even in that situation, I helped him. When I demanded my money, he said the funds had not yet arrived. Because I needed it for childbirth, I begged him to make a partial payment of IDR 10 million,” Ayu explained.
She also emphasized that she has strong evidence when lending money to RD.
“All the evidence is there. I will submit it during the trial,” Ayu concluded.
RD, when asked for confirmation about the lawsuit,
