Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – During the first session of the fifth legislative period, Deputy Speaker of the Pohuwato Regency DPRD, Nirwan Due, held a series of constituent meetings at three locations, attracting enthusiastic crowds in the Duhiadaa and Patilangio Districts.
The event, characterized by the presence of the Gerindra Party politician, witnessed a variety of aspirations, ranging from rural road infrastructure issues, agricultural access, the availability of agricultural seeds to support MSMEs.
Beyond gathering aspirations, Deputy Speaker of the DPRD, Nirwan Due, also distributed several aids to the community. He emphasized that these aids were part of the local government’s programs aligned with the aspirations expressed by the community.
“These aids are based on the aspirations of the community members, and thankfully, these aspirations have been realized. I want to emphasize that these aids are part of the local government’s programs,” affirmed Nirwan Due.
Nirwan also explained that during the constituent meetings at three locations, various aspirations surfaced, including MSME programs, rural road infrastructure, and the recruitment of civil servants.
“In regards to corn and rice seeds, these concerns were raised during the meetings. This, of course, needs attention from the government. We have tried to communicate with the Regent and the Head of the Department, and we have also met with several groups to find solutions to these issues,” expressed Nirwan Due after the second meeting.
Nirwan stated that the aspirations of the community would be advocated by the DPRD to be promptly realized. One way is to push for the allocation of funds for the procurement of corn seeds.
“What they need right now is seeds, and this has already been budgeted by the Government and DPRD. I will also push for the availability of funds to meet the needs of the farming community, particularly through the DID budget. This is my responsibility as a representative of the people,” he concluded.(*)
