Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The natural wealth of Suwawa Tengah Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency, particularly its mines, is expected to provide employment opportunities and improve the standard of living for the community.
This was emphasized by Sawaludin, a candidate for the People’s Consultative Assembly (DPR RI) from the PPP party in the Gorontalo electoral district, during a campaign in Suwawa Tengah Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency, on Thursday (28/12/2023).
He strongly desires that the results of mining in Bone Bolango be fully enjoyed by the local community so that the economy of the residents can experience growth.
“Do not let people from Jakarta come and take the wealth of our natural resources, and our economic standards do not improve. Therefore, if I sit as a representative of you all in the DPR-RI later, I want no more injustice regarding the natural wealth of Gorontalo, including mining,” emphasized Sawaludin.
As a business owner in the mining sector, Sawaludin is well-versed in mining issues, including those in Suwawa. Therefore, he will make every effort to ensure that the people of Gorontalo are not just spectators in their own region but also actively involved in utilizing the potential of this natural wealth for the economic improvement of the community.
