Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Initiating the 2024 budget year, the North Gorontalo Regional People’s Representative Council’s (DPRD Gorut) Commission II plans to schedule an early-year evaluation meeting.
According to Commission II member Gustam Ismail, the evaluation meeting will involve the working partner regional government organizations (OPD) of Commission II.
For Gustam, the evaluation meeting they will conduct is crucial to review programs and budgets set in the 2024 regional budget (APBD).
“Indeed, before the APBD is approved, it is discussed together. However, an evaluation related to those programs will still be carried out,” he emphasized.
As an example, Gustam continued, regarding the continuation of the bypass road from Pasar Molongkapoto to Pontolo, which will be worked on this year. In this program, Gustam stated that the region is responsible for land acquisition.
“The budget for land acquisition, as I recall, is allocated, but I don’t remember the exact amount. Therefore, this also needs to be evaluated as part of the preparation for program implementation,” he explained.
Moreover, Gustam continued, he received information that the budget for this road must be absorbed this year.
Clearly, according to the PKS legislator, the status of the bypass road is crucial for Gorut, especially as a support for transportation and business routes.
“The impact on the region’s future development will be very significant, so the preparation for the construction of this road must be well-prepared,” emphasized Gustam Ismail. (*)
