Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The numerous innovations carried out by Zainal Umar Sidiki Hospital (ZUS) received appreciation from the Vice Chairman of Commission I of the North Gorontalo Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), Matran Lasunte.
According to Matran, the innovations implemented by ZUS Hospital are commendable and undoubtedly have a positive impact on the hospital itself.
“If you were to ask me, this is very good and also an extraordinary step towards the future improvement of ZUS Hospital,” expressed Matran.
Furthermore, the PPP legislator stated that he was surprised and delighted when ZUS Hospital was designated as a health examination site for participants in a recent first aid training program.
“Because as far as I know, ZUS Hospital was not a referral location for health examinations,” he emphasized.
He also appreciated the recent collaboration with the Mikeda Manado Eye Clinic, considering it a progressive and bold step.
“It is fitting for a hospital to have specialized services, such as eye care, and hopefully, this collaboration will enhance eye care services in North Gorontalo,” Matran said.
On the other hand, Matran mentioned that ZUS Hospital’s presence, which may not have gained much public favor due to established stigma and complaints about its facilities, would likely receive positive responses with the ongoing innovations and improvements in its services.
“It is undeniable that ZUS Hospital’s existence, especially in terms of services and facilities, has faced challenges. However, with the changes and innovations, it is hoped that ZUS Hospital can meet the expectations of the community,” he stated.
Especially with the status of ZUS Hospital as a Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD), it is expected to continue improving, advancing in terms of both human resources and facilities. (*)
