Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The acting chairman of the Indonesian Christian Youth Movement (KAMGI), Ricardo Situmorang, expresses gratitude to the Gorontalo Provincial Government, specifically Acting Governor Ismail Pakaya, and the Regional Leadership Forum (Forkopimda) of Gorontalo Province.
Ricardo conveyed his thanks because the Acting Governor and Forkopimda have provided a sense of comfort and peace during this year’s Christmas celebration.
“Your togetherness and dedication have created an atmosphere of peace and joy during the Christmas and New Year celebrations in the Gorontalo region,” said Ricardo.
At this moment, he added, they keenly felt the presence of government, the military (TNI), and the police (Polri) in ensuring security. According to him, every step taken was full of wisdom and care, making the people of Gorontalo feel safe and comfortable.
“We can celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year with joy, without the burden of worries,” continued Ricardo.
“I want to appreciate the close collaboration between the Gorontalo Provincial Government and the Polri, as well as the TNI in maintaining stability and order. This synergy not only creates physical security but also instills confidence in the entire community,” he added.
For Ricardo, the hard work and collaboration of the government, TNI, and Polri prove that collaboration is the key to success.
“We highly appreciate the joint efforts in maintaining harmony among religious communities and ensuring that every citizen can celebrate religious holidays with full happiness. In the spirit of Christmas, full of love and peace, and welcoming the new year, let us together build a better Gorontalo,” he said.
On that occasion, Ricardo also conveyed peaceful greetings to the Christian community in Gorontalo. In the spirit of Christmas and the New Year filled with love, he expressed deep gratitude to the extraordinary tolerant people of Gorontalo.
“The spirit of tolerance shown by our brothers and sisters in Gorontalo ensures that Christmas and New Year celebrations proceed peacefully. This harmony is a real example of how beautiful differences can be in a diverse society,” said Ricardo.
