Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Gorontalo Provincial Secretary, Sofian Ibrahim suggests that the presence of SKALA should be utilized effectively to innovate various programs.
He conveyed this during the provincial committee meeting held at Manna Caffee and Bakery, Gorontalo, on Tuesday (30/1/2024).
According to him, if the proposed program supports service quality, it will surely receive support from the SKALA Committee.
“SKALA’s presence this time may be around seven to eight years ahead, so we must use this to innovate and maneuver various programs supported by SKALA,” said Sofian Ibrahim.
It is known that the Australia-Indonesia Partnership Program for Synergy and Collaboration to Accelerate Basic Services has entered the consultation and evaluation phase. In Gorontalo, this program was officially launched in October 2023.
The program is the result of cooperation from the Australian Embassy aimed at supporting poverty and inequality reduction through improving the availability of basic services.
In the same place, Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Riri Silalahi mentioned that the focus of evaluation in the meeting is the work program that SKALA has implemented, and the work plan that will be carried out until June 2024.
“This is the second provincial committee meeting, today we will present what we have done and our priorities until June 2024,” said Riri.
“Especially now we have a work program from June 2023 to June 2024,” she added.
She hoped that the provincial committee meeting could become a forum for synergy and collaboration.
According to her, it is much needed for accelerating basic services according to the SKALA program.
“Through today’s evaluation phase, hopefully, this can be a forum for us to synergize and collaborate,” she hoped.
“We in Gorontalo have approximately three more months, so it is reasonable if the implementation of some programs is still very limited,” she concluded. (Release)
