Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Acting Regent of Bone Bolango, Merlan S. Uloli, urges everyone to enhance their faith in the Almighty in 2024. Merlan states that the goal is to guide the Bone Bolango community towards becoming better individuals in the future.
He conveyed this message during his speech at the grand dhikr event for reflection on the end of the year and welcoming the transition from 2023 to 2024, organized by the community of Km 4 Tumbihe, Kabila District, Bone Bolango Regency, on Sunday (31/12/2023).
“Insha Allah, to welcome the new year 2024, we are here to collectively engage in dhikr, supplicate to Allah SWT. Each of us should self-reflect so that in 2024, we become better individuals, individuals whose faith and devotion to Allah SWT increase even more,” said Merlan Uloli.
Merlan expressed gratitude on behalf of all Bone Bolango residents for successfully navigating 365 days from January 1 to December 31, 2023, in good health. Despite various trials and challenges faced collectively.
“Alhamdulillah, thanks to the help and protection of Allah SWT, we have passed that journey in good health. Hopefully, in the future, Allah SWT will continue to grant us health, provide sustenance, a long life, and enable us to achieve our goals, hopes, and the purpose of our lives in 2024,” Merlan hoped.
During the occasion, Merlan also expressed his hope that such dhikr activities could continue, replacing the usually less positive and traffic-disruptive activities on the night of the year transition.
“May our hopes and efforts as a community receive the blessings of Allah SWT,” concluded Merlan. (*)
