Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Acting Regent of Bone Bolango, Merlan Uloli, attended the inauguration of several village officials in the Botupingge Subdistrict on Wednesday (1/3/2024).
After the inauguration, Merlan delivered a message to the newly appointed village officials, urging them to focus on serving the people, reducing poverty, and addressing stunting.
“To all of you who I inaugurated today, including the village officials in Botupingge sub-district, I ask you to focus on improving performance. Anything related to public service, poverty rates, and stunting should be your main focus,” emphasized Merlan.
He revealed that many people often protest against the distribution of aid, considering it unfair and uneven. He attributed this to the chaos in existing data and the lack of collaboration across government agencies.
“I hope that this year we improve our performance and work based on data, especially in delivering assistance to the poor. Let us pray that good work will yield good results,” concluded Merlan. (*)
