Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Bone Bolango Regency Government continues its efforts in accelerating and expanding regional digitalization, as demonstrated by consistent actions.
One of the initiatives is the implementation of the “Digitalization to Kambungu” program.
In executing this program, the Bone Bolango Regency Government collaborates with Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Gorontalo, reaching out to every sub-district to provide education and literacy to residents regarding the usage of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard).
On Saturday (2/12/2023), Acting Regent of Bone Bolango, Merlan Uloli, along with several officials from Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Gorontalo, provided education to residents in the Kabila Bone Sub-district.
Merlan explained that since the formation of TP2DD by the Bone Bolango Regency Government, various efforts have been made in programs, socialization, and education to strengthen the digital ecosystem for the improvement of the community’s economy.
“One of them is the program we are launching today, namely the ‘Digitalization to Kambungu Kabila Bone’ program, a collaboration between the Bone Bolango Regency Government and the Bank Indonesia Representative Office in the Gorontalo Province, as a follow-up to the High Level Meeting,” said Merlan during the launch of the Digitalization to Kambungu Kabila Bone program at the Botutonuo Beach Tourism Object.
He revealed that this digitalization program to Kambungu will be carried out over a four-week period, starting from November 25, 2023, to December 16, 2023, every Saturday at Molotabu Market and Botutunuo Tourism Object locations.
“Today, we gather here as a sign that this activity has been officially implemented. Therefore, I invite and hope that this excellent activity can be utilized to the fullest by the community, starting from understanding what QRIS is, installing the application, and then using it for shopping payments, transactions at your businesses, including paying local taxes or fees to the region,” he expressed.
He hopes that education and literacy in regional digitalization will continue to be continuous and sustainable, so that in the future, the community will become accustomed to being part of the digital ecosystem.
This is expected to assist in the economic improvement of the community by enhancing services and visits to markets, tourist attractions, or other objects by providing QRIS payment services in the current business sector.
“This is a note for the Sub-district Government, as well as Villages and Technical Working Units (OPD Teknis), to be continuously monitored, observed, and ensured of its implementation,” he concluded.(*)
