Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Former Vice Governor of Gorontalo from 2010 to 2012, Tonny Uloli, met with the Chairman of the Golkar Party Gorontalo Regional Board, Rusli Habibie (RH), in Jakarta on Saturday (13/1/2024) afternoon.
In his statement, Tonny revealed that the meeting aimed to inform Rusli Habibie, as the chairman of the Gorontalo Golkar Party Regional Board, that he has received a letter from the Golkar Central Executive Board (DPP Golkar) to conduct socialization in preparation for the Gorontalo Gubernatorial Election.
“The purpose of the meeting is to report to Rusli Habibie, as the chairman of the Gorontalo Golkar Party Regional Board, that I have received a task letter from the Golkar Central Executive Board to conduct socialization in preparation for participating in the Gubernatorial Election,” said Tonny.
He emphasized the need for the report to Rusli Habibie, considering he is a Golkar cadre who must adhere to party regulations.
“I am a Golkar cadre, so, of course, I must comply with the party’s constitution. Alhamdulillah, I have obtained a task letter from the Golkar Central Executive Board to prepare for winning Golkar Party in the legislative and gubernatorial elections. So, I reported this to Mr. RH,” said Tonny.
Meanwhile, Rusli Habibie, as the Chairman of the Gorontalo Golkar Party Regional Board, welcomed Tonny Uloli’s inclusion in the DPP Golkar task letter for the Gubernatorial Election preparation.
After the meeting, they are scheduled for another meeting on Thursday (18/1/2024). Tonny Uloli, along with his wife, Farida Lontoh, is planning to visit Gorontalo on Sunday (14/1/2024).
In addition to meeting with Rusli Habibie, Tonny’s visit to Gorontalo is also to attend the inauguration ceremony of Merlan Uloli as the Regent of Bone Bolango and carry out several agendas as part of his preparation for the upcoming Gubernatorial Election.
It is known that Tonny Uloli’s leadership career in the Golkar Party began in Papua. He was then entrusted as the Head of Entrepreneurship at the DPP Golkar when Jusuf Kalla was the Chairman of the DPP Golkar.
Later, during the leadership of Abu Rizal Bakrie as the Chairman of the DPP Golkar, Tonny Uloli was appointed as the Vice General Treasurer of the DPP Golkar and also the chairman of Golkar Party’s winning team in Eastern Indonesia. (Release)
