Yes, the bitter pill of a “canceled” inauguration was felt by Yanti Kadang, one of the Heads of Section at the Gorontalo Utara Health Office, who had to be disappointed because she was not inaugurated by the Regent of Gorontalo Utara, Thariq Modanggu, on Tuesday (5/12/2023), exactly one day before the end of her term.
Yanti Kadang, dressed in a PSL uniform, was already prepared to attend the inauguration ceremony to be conducted by Regent Thariq. Like several other officials, Yanti was already in the Germas room.
However, an unpleasant thing happened to her; she had to leave the room a few moments before the inauguration ceremony started. Yanti had to do this because she had just found out that her inauguration was canceled.
To get clarification on the matter, no one from the BKPP (Regional Personnel Agency) could be contacted, from the Head of BKPP, Dahlan Wante, whose WA number was inactive, to the Secretary of BKPP, Olfin Uno, who was also unresponsive via WA.
Meanwhile, Yuliati, SE, the Head of the Personnel Section of the Health Office, when asked about the failure of Yanti Kadang’s inauguration, said she did not know the reason for the cancellation.
“I was only contacted by BKPP that Ms. Yanti’s inauguration was canceled,” said Yuliati. One of the Hanafi Heads, when contacted, initially responded to the call and said he was still busy.
“I’m still with the Regional Secretary. I will call again later and send the data of the inaugurated employees,” said Hanafi, who then disconnected the call.
Not satisfied with this response, our media team tried contacting these officials again, but no one answered. Even the WA number of the Secretary of Gorut, Suleman Lakoro, was not connected when contacted. (*)
