Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Faction of the Pohuwato District Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), Abdullah Kadir Diko, once again met with the people of Taluditi Subdistrict on Wednesday (12/6/2023).
This time, as part of the series of Reses (working visits) during the first session of the 5th year held in Kalimas Village, Taluditi Subdistrict, the young PKB politician participated in distributing food aid and cultivators (Alsintan) for several villages in Taluditi and Randangan Subdistricts.
The Reses by the PKB Faction Chairman received a warm welcome from the residents of Kalimas, Tirto Asri, and Puncak Jaya.
Moreover, according to the villagers of Kalimas, this is the first time since the 2019 period that a member of the Pohuwato DPRD has conducted a Reses in Kalimas Village.
“Later, there will be a Reses in Kalimas. Out of our representatives in the DPRD, this one will be held in our village (Kalimas), and I will be invited.
In the past, there were Reses in other villages, but I was never invited. Therefore, I express my gratitude because Reses is being held in our village,” said the Head of Kalimas Village, Riston Hamim.
Aya Riston (his nickname) also mentioned that the Reses by DPRD Member Abdullah Kadir Diko is like a blessing for the people of Kalimas since, during the Reses, the community can feel the direct benefits of food and agricultural machinery aid.
“This Reses is a blessing, especially with the distribution of groceries for the people. As the village government, I express my thanks,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, PKB Faction Chairman Abdullah Kadir Diko, speaking to the media, stated that Reses are indeed needed by the community to convey aspirations.
“Then what emerged from various community aspirations earlier, first about the connectivity of road networks between villages, be it Kalimas, Puncak Jaya, Makarti Jaya, PK2 (Panca Karsa), and Tirto Asri.
That is the hope of the community to be realized soon. Because this will certainly facilitate the activities of the community,” said the graduate of Salafiyah Safiiyah Randangan Islamic Boarding School.
Regarding food aid and Alsintan, he said that it has long been the hope of the community. Therefore, through this assistance, according to Dullah (his nickname), it can increase the productivity of agricultural produce in the village.
“So, this Reses, together with the relevant agencies, I am handing over food assistance in the form of 10kg of rice, and the recipients are around 160 households from 3 villages.
Also, the cultivator, Alhamdulillah, through the E-Pokir in the revised budget, we can allocate it. In principle, this aid aims to ensure that all farmers have equal access to utilize this agricultural machinery.
I hope that with Alsintan, it can boost the productivity of agricultural produce,” he concluded.(*)
