Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Gorontalo Regional Police (Polda Gorontalo) will be conducting security measures at various vital locations ahead of Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2024.
This was stated by the Chief of the Gorontalo Regional Police, Police Inspector General Angesta Romano Yoyol, in front of the media on Monday (11/12/2023).
The Chief of Police stated that, in terms of security mechanisms, they will focus on several vital objects, ranging from places of worship to tourist destinations.
“Our preparations for Christmas and New Year first involve securing places of worship and then several vital object locations,” he explained.
“We are also focusing on places where people gather in large numbers,” the Chief of Police continued.
He also mentioned that they will secure several vital objects such as ports and terminals.
“When the new year comes, we will secure tourist attractions and hotels,” he emphasized.
In conclusion, the Chief of Police stated that they will also conduct a market operation to address the hoarding of basic commodities.
“We will coordinate with the Acting Governor regarding this matter,” he concluded. (*)
