229 New Enlisted Personnel from SPN Gorontalo Police Academy Officially Sworn In

Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Chief of Gorontalo Police, Police Inspector General Angesta Romano Yoyol, inaugurated 229 students as members of the Indonesian National Police on Thursday (12/21/2023).

These personnel completed the Bintara Polri formation program, conducted over 5 months at the Gorontalo Regional Police State Police School (SPN).

“With the completion of this formation education program, the Indonesian National Police has successfully added personnel,” said the Police Chief.

The rank of non-commissioned officers (Bintara) and enlisted personnel (Tamtama), he continued, amounted to 15,419 individuals, consisting of 14,771 male police officers and 648 female police officers.

“This number is divided into 13,226 general duty Police Bintara, 500 Brimob Bintara, 100 Polair Bintara, 1,497 Brimob Tamtama, and 96 Polair Tamtama,” he explained.

Starting today, these personnel have acquired the identity and professional honor, as well as duties and responsibilities as Bhayangkara Negara.

Every attitude, speech, and behavior will serve as an example for the community.

“I congratulate you for successfully completing the entire education program at the Police Education Institution,” he said.

“This has led you to be sworn in as members of the Indonesian National Police, holding the rank of Police Brigadier Two and Bhayangkara Two,” he added.

The Police Chief also conveyed that the future tasks of the Indonesian National Police would be increasingly challenging and complex.

This condition is influenced by the political dynamics leading up to the 2024 general elections, whose stages have already begun this year.

He believes that this condition will certainly affect the public order situation throughout Indonesia.

“In response to this, the police are required to take proactive steps through various efforts such as preemptive, preventive, and law enforcement,” he said.

It is hoped that public order can continue to be maintained, and the community can feel safe and comfortable in carrying out their daily activities.

In conclusion, the Police Chief expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation to the SPN Commander, as well as all the staff.
