Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Government of Bone Bolango Regency has successfully increased the Human Development Index (HDI).
According to data released by the Gorontalo Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS), Bone Bolango’s HDI has risen to 71.97. This figure positions Bone Bolango as the top-performing regency in the Gorontalo Province.
The increase in HDI is a cause for celebration for the Acting Regent of Bone Bolango, Merlan S. Uloli. For Merlan, this improvement signifies that all local government programs have been felt by the community.
“I am very grateful for the release of Bone Bolango’s current HDI at 71.97, above the average for Gorontalo Province.
This means that all local government programs, whether in health, education, or the economy, have been felt by the people, leading to this increase in HDI,” Merlan S. Uloli expressed on Friday (12/1/2023).
Merlan hopes that the achievements made can be maintained by his team, despite the current financial constraints of the region, which will be focused on the 2024 elections.
According to the release from the Central Statistics Agency, Bone Bolango’s HDI stands at 71.97, one level below the city of Gorontalo, which is at 78.60.
Below Bone Bolango, the other areas in Gorontalo Province are reported as follows: Gorontalo Province at 71.25, Gorontalo Regency at 70.37, Pohuwato at 69.30, Boalemo Regency at 68.78, and lastly, North Gorontalo Regency at 68.00 (*).
