Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – The Bone Bolango Regency Government has started to socialize the regent’s regulation (Perbup) regarding Community Information Groups (KIM).

The socialization is conducted with village governments. To ensure a fast and accurate socialization process, the Communication and Coding Agency, as the leading sector, collaborates with the Village Empowerment Agency (Pemdes).
According to the Acting Regent of Bone Bolango, Merlan Uloli, the KIM socialization will be carried out gradually, starting from the Suwawa group, then moving on to the Kabila sub-district group, Tapa-Bulango sub-district group, and finally the Bone Coastal sub-district group.

“The socialization is conducted gradually,” said the first female regent in Bone Bolango after opening the socialization activity on Wednesday (12/6/2023).
Merlan Uloli explained that KIM is a partner of the regional, sub-district, and village governments that will carry out its duties and functions as a channel for disseminating information about various work programs, whether upcoming, ongoing, or completed.
“One form of participation is the Community Information Group or KIM. Their duty is to disseminate information about development achievements in villages and sub-districts,” she added.
Meanwhile, Irwan Bempah, the Coordinator of the Regent’s Work Team appointed as one of the speakers in the socialization of the Perbup regarding KIM, stated that in 2019, several villages had formed KIM in accordance with the guidance of Perbup number 37 of 2019.
However, due to the COVID-19 constraints, the already formed KIM has not been functioning optimally.
“I hope that the KIM that will be formed can carry out its duties and functions,” said Irwan. (*)
