Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – If all goes smoothly, Merlan Uloli will be inaugurated as the definitive Regent of Bone Bolango early next week.
This follows the issuance of the decree (SK) by the Ministry of Home Affairs with the number 100.2.1.3-24 on January 2, 2024, confirming the appointment of the Regent of Bone Bolango and the dismissal of the Vice Regent of Bone Bolango in Gorontalo Province.
“Alhamdulillah, according to the information from the Regional Government Bureau of Gorontalo Province, the appointment letter for Mrs. Merlan Uloli as the Regent of Bone Bolango has been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs,” said the Head of the Governance and Kesra Section of the Bone Bolango District Secretary, Mesalina Vivi Saputra, on Wednesday (10/1/2024).
Mesalina added that, according to the information and schedule received by their office, the acting governor of Gorontalo, Ismail Pakaya, will officiate the inauguration of Merlan Uloli.
“After the inauguration, the next day, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the traditional Molo’opu procession will be held for Regent Bone Bolango Merlan S. Uloli,” Mesalina continued.
The Molo’opu traditional procession, according to Mesalina, will involve traditional leaders and will take place at the Bandayo Residence of the Regent of Bone Bolango.
Meanwhile, the Acting Regent of Bone Bolango, Merlan S. Uloli, when interviewed, expressed her relief and gratitude for the issuance of the Ministry of Home Affairs decree confirming her appointment as the definitive Regent of Bone Bolango.
“I am relieved and grateful, and I also thank because there are tasks that indeed require me, if not definitive, I must obtain permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs. This would be troublesome, for example, conducting the inauguration and continuing the stages of job bidding that took place some time ago, I needed permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs,” explained Merlan.
She mentioned that with her inauguration as the definitive regent, automatically, without having to request permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs, she can proceed with the inauguration of OPD leaders who have participated in the selection and job bidding some time ago.
“So also the signing of the SKs related to the budget, there will certainly be no more obstacles. We don’t have to ask for permission to the center anymore, to make it smoother and easier for all my tasks in the Government,” concluded Merlan.(*)
