Hargo.co.id, JAYAPURA – Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo carried out social and health services during a working visit to Jayapura, Papua.
The social and health service was also attended by the Commander of the TNI, General Agus Subiyanto.
Police Public Relations Division Head, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, revealed that several activities were organized during the social service.
These included general, dental, and specialist medical services, medical check-ups, laboratory examinations, and the distribution of glasses.
Sandi stated that a total of 1,000 people were the targets of these free health services.
“This social and health service is a manifestation of the synergy between the TNI and the Police in serving the community in the health sector,” said Sandi on Friday (12/8/23).
“This is also an effort by the TNI and the Police to be closer to the community and to invite them to work together to realize a safe and peaceful 2024 election,” he continued.
It is hoped that this aid can alleviate the burden on the community amid the ongoing national situation, namely the stages of the 2024 elections.
“As stated by the Police Chief, we hope this assistance can be beneficial to those in need,” said Sandi. (*)
