Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – PPP candidate for Indonesian Parliament from Gorontalo constituency, Sawaludin, performed a prostration of gratitude during a campaign in Tenda Village, Hulondhalangi Subdistrict, Gorontalo City, Wednesday (27/12/2023).
Sawaludin’s action was prompted by his encounter with many constituents at the fishermen’s association. Besides being a businessman, Sawaludin is currently trusted to be the vice chairman of the fishermen’s solidarity association.
“Why did I perform a prostration of gratitude? Because I could meet again with the Pabean residents who are fishermen. A year ago, I was with the fishermen, and I am grateful that I am now reunited with the fishermen,” said Sawaludin.
The DPR RI candidate number 3 from the party with the Ka’bah symbol added that one of his main motivations for running for Parliament from PPP is his strong desire to uplift the dignity of fishermen.
“If, God willing, I am elected and sit in the parliament representing the people of Gorontalo, I will realize what I have promised, and if it is not implemented, please remind me,” concluded Sawaludin. (*)
