Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Candidate for the Regional Representative Council (DPR RI) from the Gorontalo Province electoral district (Dapil) representing PPP, Sawaludin, is a young figure with sincere intentions to develop the region.
This was expressed by the head of the Gorontalo customary institution, AD Khaly, in an interview with the media after hosting Sawaludin at his residence in Hepuhulawa Village, Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency, on Sunday (7/1/2024).
AD Khaly revealed that, among several candidates he has met, all are viewed similarly. However, Sawaludin stands out. With a background as a businessman, AD Khaly believes Sawaludin has a strong desire to advance Gorontalo.
“Some have come, like Roem Kono, Winarni Monoarfa, but I see Sawaludin as somewhat different. Because he is a sincere young individual building the land of Gorontalo, known as the porch of Medina,” expressed AD Khaly.
Due to his positive mission, AD Khaly plans to have further meetings with Sawaludin.
“I have already mentioned that there will be a follow-up meeting. But I ask him to observe the field first, and God willing, I will assist with ideas because he is new to politics, and based on my experience in the DPD, I will share with him,” explained the former member of DPD-RI.
He hopes that in building the region, Sawaludin must be genuinely sincere.
“It’s time for the youth to step forward to defend the interests of the people and transform this region for the better in the future, not only in terms of development but also economic improvement,” concluded AD Khaly.
In the same place, Sawaludin admitted that he is very grateful to have the opportunity to connect with AD Khaly.
Besides receiving positive advice, AD Khaly also strongly supports young people to contribute significantly to the progress of Gorontalo.
“I am very happy to meet him. Many positive things he conveyed. One of them is how, in reality, when we build the Gorontalo Province, we must prioritize the existing customs, as the region’s philosophy is based on Sharia, Sharia is based on the holy book,” concluded Sawaludin. (*)
