Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Bawaslu and Bone Bolango Regency Government have finally reached an agreement on the supervision budget for the 2024 Regional Election (Pilkada), amounting to IDR 9 billion.

The agreement was marked by the signing of the Regional Grant Agreement (NPHD) by the Acting Regent of Bone Bolango, Merlan S. Uloli, and the Chairperson of Bawaslu Bone Bolango, Sofyan Djama, in the meeting room of the Bone Bolango Regent on Monday (8/1/2024).
Previously, Bawaslu was reluctant to agree to the budget proposed by the Bone Bolango Regency Government, which was IDR 9 billion. For Bawaslu, this amount was significantly lower than their proposal, which was IDR 9.9 billion.

However, through intense communication between the two parties, the supervision budget for the 2024 Bone Bolango Regency election was finally agreed upon at IDR 9 billion.
The Acting Regent of Bone Bolango, Merlan S. Uloli, expressed gratitude for the agreement reached with Bawaslu Bone Bolango.
“Alhamdulillah (Thank God), what has been our struggle, hope, and joint effort to commit to building this nation and region through the national agenda of democratic festivities, namely the 2024 simultaneous elections, has come to fruition,” said Merlan.
Merlan expressed hope that the signing of the NPHD would end the concerns and anxieties of various parties regarding the stages of the general election and regional election in Bone Bolango Regency.
“I, personally, as the regional head, along with the TAPD (Regional Apparatus Work Unit) and Banggar (Regional Budget Agency), would like to express gratitude to the Bone Bolango Regency DPRD (Regional People’s Representative Council), which has accompanied this effort, as well as Bawaslu.
Although there was a little dynamics in reaching the NPHD signing process today. Surely, all of this is part of our joint efforts towards the success of the 2024 simultaneous elections,” said Merlan.
Present at the NPHD signing were Deputy Chair of the Bone Bolango Regency DPRD Azan Piola, Bone Bolango Regency Secretary Ishak Ntoma as the Chair of TAPD, assistants, and other relevant OPD (Regional Apparatus Organizations) leaders, as well as Bawaslu members Yulianti Laliyo and the Head of the Secretariat of Bawaslu Bone Bolango Arkan Karim.(*)
