Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Having a passion for durian cultivation proves to be something special for DPR-RI Legislative Candidate from the United Development Party (PPP), Sawaludin.
Thanks to his hobby, this young entrepreneur has garnered significant support from the community.
One of the many endorsements for his durian cultivation hobby comes from the residents of Harapan Village, Wonosari District, Boalemo Regency.
Not only the residents, but also one of the local representatives in the area, Fatkurohman, takes pride in Sawaludin’s passion for durian cultivation.
For Fatkurohman, durian cultivation can contribute to the region’s economy for a considerable period and can be enjoyed throughout one’s lifetime without dismantling and reassembling.
“It turns out his breakthrough aligns with my initiatives at the regency level, which I have long aspired for my people—long-term economic development.
Once planted, it can be enjoyed for a lifetime, and that is essential for our future generations,” expressed Fatkurohman after meeting with residents alongside Sawaludin on Monday (18/18/2023).
Fatkurohman further stated that, on the other hand, this initiative can also prevent natural disasters such as landslides, erosion, and floods.
“And it fits perfectly with the programs I have aspired for and fought for during my tenure as a member of the Boalemo Regency DPRD,” he explained.
On that occasion, Fatkurohman also emphasized that, with a military background, Sawaludin, as a mining sector entrepreneur, possesses a firm attitude in addressing various issues that may arise.
“With his firmness, I believe that when faced with issues from the Gorontalo community, he can resolve them when elected as the representative of Gorontalo at the national level,” Fatkurohman hoped. (*)
