Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – All local governments, including the Gorontalo City Government, held activities to commemorate the 78th anniversary of public works and spatial planning (PUPR) on Friday (12/1/2023).
Deputy Mayor of Gorontalo, Ryan F. Kono, who attended the event, conveyed congratulations on the 78th anniversary of PUPR. According to him, at its age, which is no longer young, PUPR has carved many developmental milestones.
“I hope that various developments that have been carried out are well maintained,” said one of the millennial leaders in Indonesia.
He also hoped that the anniversary could be a momentum for all citizens to enhance values, spirit, maintain unity, and collaborate with various parties to improve the quality of development.
“Throughout the year 2023, we express gratitude to the Ministry of PUPR for supporting the development agenda in the city of Gorontalo, one of which is the general handling in the Talumolo area of Gorontalo City or what we call Santorini, a lush and beautiful Talumolo area,” said Ryan.
It is known that the Ministry of PUPR through its agency has implemented community-based infrastructure programs in 2023. The program aims to maintain the purchasing power of the community and help provide employment opportunities for job seekers in Gorontalo City.
“All achievements in PUPR infrastructure development have been created, actively contributing to our efforts to maintain our optimism in economic recovery,” concluded Ryan. (*)
