Also present were various Directors and Heads in the Polri Public Relations hierarchy.
The Head of the Public Relations Division explained that collaboration to maintain unity amid the election buzz is crucial. On the other hand, the public must be continuously educated that having different choices is a normal occurrence.
“Therefore, those with differing opinions should be content at the polling stations; whatever happens, it is the nation’s best choice,” expressed the Head of the Public Relations Division on Wednesday (13/12/23).
The Head of the Public Relations Division emphasized that ensuring peaceful elections is the responsibility of the entire community. Therefore, the spirit of unity must be promoted both in the digital space and in real life.
Furthermore, it was explained that digital literacy must continue to be more extensive. Therefore, telecommunication service providers must work together to create good social media ethics in society.
As per the message from the Chief of the National Police, General Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, democracy festivities should be carried out joyfully in unity.
This is because the 2024 elections are the selection of leaders who will realize shared aspirations, namely the advancement of Indonesia and the vision of Indonesia as a Golden State by 2045.
“Our shared principle is that prevention is better than cure,” stated the Head of the Public Relations Division.
ATSI Secretary-General Marwan O. Baasir added that telecommunication service providers are neutral in the 2024 elections, as stipulated by the regulations of the Ministry of Communication and Information.
“ATSI is neutral, we support Peaceful Elections, not affiliated with any party,” he said.
