Hargo.co.id, GORONTALO – Ismail T Akase, the Head of the Health Office (Dikes) of Gorontalo Regency, accompanied by Meliyana Panther, the Head of Telaga Community Health Center, and her staff, visited the family of Arif Ismail, the husband of the late Nur Hayati Pipi’i, a patient believed to have not received optimal service from Telaga Community Health Center.
Arif Ismail was visited by Ismail, the Head of Dikes, at his residence in Bulota Village, Telaga Jaya District, Gorontalo Regency, on Wednesday (12/6/2023).
Upon arrival at Arif’s house, Ismail greeted Arif, the late’s parents, and several family members, expressing condolences and apologizing for the services provided by Telaga Community Health Center.
“We apologize for the health center’s services, and we deeply feel the sorrow for the passing of the deceased. On behalf of the government, the Health Office, we apologize,” said Ismail.
On that occasion, Ismail also mentioned that the incident at Telaga Community Health Center is currently under investigation.
Not only that, Ismail said they would also conduct an evaluation of the services at Telaga Community Health Center and provide guidance to improve public health services.
“We accept all criticism and input with an open heart. We are currently evaluating the health services at Telaga Community Health Center, and for the family left behind by the deceased, we hope they remain patient and sincere in accepting this tragedy. May the deceased have a good ending and be given a worthy place by Allah SWT,” expressed Ismail Akase.
Meanwhile, Rahman Pipi’i, the late’s parents, admitted to accepting the tragedy that befell them and their family.
“We have accepted it, and this issue has been resolved. This meeting is just a formality,” said Rahman.
Continuing Rahman’s statement, Yaser Hasania, the late’s uncle, added that the family has accepted the apology from the Health Office and Telaga Community Health Center.
“We consider this issue resolved. The family accepts it, with an open heart and a generous spirit, and the problem has been resolved.
No one felt pressured or forced in the meeting, and the family agreed not to continue the issue and not to bring it up again,” said Yaser.
Yaser also stated that the family has fully handed over the Telaga Community Health Center service issue to the Health Office and hopes that the Health Office can resolve it objectively and conduct an internal evaluation within Telaga Community Health Center.
“The family is confident and believes that the Health Office can conduct an objective evaluation, and this issue can be a lesson, a corrective measure, introspection, and evaluation for the health center’s services.
We hope there will be no more victims like the late Nur,” Yaser concluded.(*)
